Apple would be better off recruiting the Vaio brand and marketing managers. They are, after all, the folks who have accomplished exactly what Apple will be trying to do with there Intel based laptops (namely, charging more for a manufactured "image").I have owned three Vaio notebooks over the years and my general impression is that there is nothing particularly special about Vaio laptops. In fact, all my notebooks died "before their time" and I'm typing this on a Toshiba laptop.Besides, the last I heard was that Apple was looking at ASUS as the supplier for their notebooks.
This aint innovative for Apple, it shows Apple have run out of ideas, I think Apple might palm off their Computer and OS division to someone else could it be Sony making the next line of Macs. The Sony Powerbook, or the Sony Mac OS X think about it Apple are more worried about their iPods! and iTunes
16x9 "If you (or anyone) thinks Apple is going to price them like commodity PCs, they are going to be sorely disappointed."Alright Apple expert, if they want's to jump ahead of Microsoft they won't do it by keeping the same insane price.

Apple makes the best hardware - best laptops period. Teaming up with Sony's Vaio team would only make them better ...
