Yes... me and a lot bunch of other users! :S Many of them with cracks near the silence button and volume... Also on the bottom and on the side without buttons... And now, you can explain that? Did you saw the rest of that post on macrumors? People talking of what they don't know!
Wow. I just told my roommate about this article because she just bought the 3G (new) phone. While she is not happy with quote, “another problem with my Iphone?!” she told me she does not intend to get a new one. I wonder how many others in the world feel the same way about this problem.
Is it justifiable in this situation for Apple to require iPhone 3G owners affected by the recall to make an Apple customer account? I don't think Dell did this with their battery issues. Conspiracy theories aside, seems like a cool way for Apple to harvest lots of email addresses. Of course you could go to an AT&T store anyways but I'll probably forget about the whole thing by the time the replacement adapters are actually available.I did think it was pretty cool that I got a text message explaining the recall. So what the hell I used my iPhone and ordered a replacement adapter online after jumping through a bunch of hoops setting up an Apple account. Apple's customer service page isn't very iPhone friendly.

This is the first time I saw it...it's hard to see stuff on digg anymore with all those Anti-McCain/Pro-Obama articles being flooded on digg.
