I wouldn't want ONE Dell. You might as well point out that you could buy 5 KIA's for the price of a Mercedes.Cheap.

So basically you believe that the only way a company can get to number #2 is by really sucking and once they hit #1 they must totally suck?

The Gateway stores really bombed, didn't they?I remember they opened one nearby and when I went back a year later they had already closed.Their store was really huge and what was weird about it was they did not have that many computers. In fact, an office the size of that Gateway store's display area would have had a lot more computers than the store did.i hope Acer does not revisit Gateway's idea too soon. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft does as a sort of 2009 version of Egghead & Comp-USA. If they can pull it off, maybe Acer can put up retail stores near them.

A guy once told me he spends his Saturday afternoons cleaning out malware/spyware/adware from his family PC every week.Guess which OS he uses?I will say one thing for him, he is not lazy.

Dude I wrote that a year ago! What I am / was saying is if Microsoft wasn't number one they wouldn't get so much crap and they would have a fanboy following. I could see if Apple was on top that a lot of people would be pissed at the things they do, like locking the iPhone to AT&T, rejecting apps, locking their OS to their hardware, and other anti-competitive practices.
