Not sure why this was modded down - he has a point.And let's be honest - it's a LOT easier for a phone manufacturer to add iPod functionality than it is for Apple to add phone functionality.

take the following for what it is worth. i am currently working on a rfp for a major cell provider (due to non disclosure agreement i can't say which). along with inquiring about other cell providers and equipment manufacturers my firm has worked with, they wanted to know specifically, and this was the only company asked for by name, if we had worked with apple in the last 3 years..........

I just got my Mac up and running with a softphone program that is running on Http://www.voicestick.comI looked all over for a Mac softphone and this software and service work just fine.Plus they have a cell bridge that allows me to use my cell phone with VOIP. I have Sprint with Sprint to home and I made this my home number, so I no longer use up ANY Sprint plan minutes.This is my work around

This should serve as a clear indication that Apple is indeed working on the iPhone. It is now a matter of when Apple will officially confirm the project and even release a timeframe for the device.
