Well they haven't manufactured new iMac G5's since the Intel iMacs came out. That is why it is not a big deal since you can still order them on the apple store website.
Yeah, the new Intel Macs run great. And I must admit, I was a skeptic. I've a MacBook Pro for a couple of weeks ago and it's an absolute dream. Even Apple's Pro apps like FinalCut run great. The future is looking very, very bright.

I noticed Costco is selling them cheap with a 3 year warranty. Would be good to see some laptops in the discount stores, it can only help.
