thinksecret.com— At Apple's sharholder meeting, when asked about a Media Center, Jobs replied with "we hear you loud and clear". Interesting notes of what went down at the meeting.

How was he being a jerk? A bunch of people tried to hijack the meeting for their own purposes, and he told them to ask questions, not make speeches. He's not obligated to humor every idiot with an axe to grind.
Okay I haven't really complained about some of the apple stories on here before, but I think everyone can agree that this is a problem. Two separate stories about the same article got dugg to the front page. This one is pretty bad because it's extreme speculation and yet the title has "confirmed" in it. Then the other submission has the title "Steve Jobs: Macbook Pros are 'bitchin'" I am a huge apple supporter, but i don't think either of these stories were really worth digging. Especially given that they were the SAME story. A much more respectable story would've read ''Jobs touts product pipeline to Apple shareholders," the title of the MacWorld article.

While the title is a bit conclusionary, it is a pretty logical interpretation of what was said.

Hmmm..."We hear you loud and clear" = "Yes, we are planning to release a media center"(What is "a media center" supposed to refer to,anyway?)

It seems Engadget surmised a similar headline.<a class="user" href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/04/27/apple-has-media-center-contender-in-the-works/">http://www.engadget.com/2006/04/27/apple-has-media-center-contender-in-the-works/</a>
