I've dropped my 5G iPod in the street a few times and it hasn't cracked or stopped working. I got a little chip out of part of the plastic on the front but it didn't shatter it or anything severe.
Yeah, for the life of me I can't find ANY other cases for cell phones. Nor do any cell providers attempt to sell you on the "must have" accessories: case, car charger, and headset. Each and every time you get a new phone, too.DAMN YOU, HORRIBLE LOCK IN TACTICS!
"You mean a phone that holds about 8GB of music, like a Nano? Yep, guess you'll have to wait a while for that one"No, that would be the 2nd iPhone model. What I mean is what I said.. an iPod nano-like phone.
I've owned 6 iPods from 3G to 5G. Never had any of them break on me, even with vigorous daily use. They tend to work pretty good when you don't drop them every other day.People need to learn that phones/iPods/PDAs are not hockey pucks.
