arstechnica.com — We all knew it was coming, it was just a matter of time. A lawsuit has been filed against Apple over what the plaintiff is referring to as the "Defective iPhone 3G," which she hopes will become a class-action complaint.

If you iPhone users can connect to a bluetooth modem, you're welcome to use the 800kbps that I get on a good day on my Sprint Instinct when WiFi isn't available.

Now I don't think it's fair to say my opinion is "worthless." I'm not a fanboy, I'm a fan. I think we owe a great deal to MS for the current era of computing, I'm just basing this off of personal experiences. And I would like to meet anyone tech knowledgeable who actually thinks MS has a VERY good reputation for anything beneficial.

If you have the iPhone 3G, live in a 3G enabled area, but getting very little 3G or none, call AT&T at 611 and request a $30 credit in your next bill for your data plan. If AT&T support suggest to disable 3G and go to 2G (Edge) on your iPhone, then request a recurrent monthly $10 credit to your account, which will bring your data plan to $20, the cost of 2G. You'll have to talk with AT&T support for awhile, be polite, but demanding, if no results, ask to speak with a manager, make it clear that you are paying for 3G, you are in a 3G enabled area, but getting very little 3G or none... stick to this point.

That sounds entirely too rational to work. But I'll give it a shot, thanks.
