Well in my experience it DOES take a blog like this for Apple to fix your hardware. How many times does a faulty laptop need to be sent back to Apple before they will just replace it? Well the answer isn't "ten or less". I don't know how many times it does take. Thankfully the stores extended warranty has kicked in now as it needs to be sent off for half the keys not working. Applecare is not worth the paper... We have had 100% fail rate with Apple products so far and a 100% fail rate for Apple repairs.Any way you can excuse that s**tty behavior from Apple? Maybe we need to build a webpage and get some international attention onto it. Then we may get some replacement machines.
They "kindly asked" him. They didn't threaten to sue him or anything. They did what they're supposed to do and gave him a replacement Macbook with no hassle. I don't understand why some people are complaining about it. The person with the broken laptop seems to be happy, and that's what matters.
Steve Jobs talks about how taking LSD was "one of the two or three most important things he has done in his life"Wikipedia. Yeah, we should praise this guy.
[sarcasm]I'm outraged, Apple should have put these pictures on the front page of www.apple.com, instead of having them removed! It doesn't matter if it was an isolated incident, people need to know![/sarcasm]
Damn! What is with the massive thumbs down for all the earlier comments that are even slightly critical of Apple? Don't you all know that Mac Bigots make baby Jesus cry?Of course since the results of your clicking campaign is a sort of censorship in itself I guess it does express a point much more effectively than any comment made.

Well - Maybe it's not cats piss after all. Spring loaded contacts getting "stuck" is a prime candidate for a high resistance joint /http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa;jsessionid=aNLcXOKffeDgmQggSU?messageID=1993423&#1993423
