No computer system is 100% secure. But yes a stock OSX install vs a stock XP install is a no brainer. A heavily tweaked XP install is something totally diffrent. And no I'm not talking security updates and elabroate antivirus software. I'm talking about simply dumping IE and Outlook. Then close some ports. Done.

"apple grabs 6.6% market share of US PC retail market..." we're talking hardware here--not software. that's like comparing apple's to (not windows)...oranges. in this market, apple's competitors are hp, compaq, dell, etc.
