I am just pissed that Apple would file a patent on such a simple idea. Calculators. Data Acquisition Systems, power line testers, noise level meters, and just about anything that is used outside and is rather low power.Apple had better not win the patent. Otherwise it will cost someone much smaller a lot in legal fees to break Apple's ownership. Please USPO, don't screw up on this one.

The most amazing thing about this whole article is that forbes reported the patent filing, because it made such big waves over the net. Forbes! Basically they had nothing to say other than this patent was filed. Why hasn't anyone said what is obvious. Apple is not going to produce a solar powered IPOD. They are merely trying to boost there patent portfolio in case they are sued by someone big. It gives them leverage to protect them from frivolous law suits.

I don't believe Hydrogen and Helium fuse. It's deuterium and tritium that fuse and produce Hydrogen. Just in case you were wondering.
