discussions.apple.com — Apparently installing software provided by Apple will void your warranty. This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. What happens when you get a malicious virus on your computer, does that also void the warranty? if this is true then it's just a big scam to screw people out of their warranty.

The following is a personal remark.[/disclaimer]Apple supports the computer in the original configuration that it was shipped. If it didn't come with Boot Camp installed, then Apple isn't going to support it. It doesn't mean it voids your warranty for God's sake!Lay off the FUD.

Digg needs to be fixed ASAP.This kind of thing shouldn't be up for 8 hours.The ability for users to delete and/or modify stories needs to be added. (overwhelming numbers of votes needed to do this however, which would be no problem in this situation.)

izzie, you're wrong. that statement only means that because it is beta software, and if something should go wrong, you assume responsibility for all the data that was on the HDD. in short, use at your own risk, if you loose your data, it is your fault, but this is totally separate from Apple's waranty!
