@MoviespoAre you Yoda's long lost brother??Good article, I myself have not had any bugs yet, but friends of mine (to whom I said iTunes was a great program :P) have and this is a good way to save face ^_^Btw, I didn't expect that the new version had no bugs what so ever. There is probably a update on our way with some fixes.
@TimmyGUNZThere are three ways to sort by album now: album, album by artist, album by year. Select album by artist for the sort, and make sure to check "Group compilations when browsing" in the General tab in the Preferences. This should treat compilation albums as "Various Artist" for sorting purposes and all you compilations should show up as you expect (they do for me)
Sounds like what happens to almost every piece of software that has millions of users. The need to cater to every type of user and be an all-in-one app! Maybe Apple isn't all that different from MS afterall? :o
"Emotionally tied to the program", huh? That's one way to put it. I prefer, If you want to listen to Apple DRM'ed songs on a Windows XP box, don't bother running anything else but iTunes 7.Jay

Only problem is that it isn't sorting compilations in the correct running order, but hey, it's better than nothing!
My iTunes is described in one way. It is a piece of Dick. My videos are out of sync time wise, it is laggy, and usually dosnt work. It's really starting to piss me off, and after gaining trust in Apple, they go ahead and release this and haven't yet made an apology. And to "radixus", whom left a post saying, and i quoteYou can't really make that sort of judgment. The install base of iTunes is so huge, that the percentage of users actually have major issues with the product is so small. But the main problem is that small percentage of the user base having these issues just go to forums and complain about the program not working - when they can really take the issue to Apple Support and have an actual support engineer look at the problem and guide you to a resolution. I'm sorry, but acting like that is not going to resolve anything. There are so many user-end factors that can cause all these headaches . . . either with third party plug-ins, customization programs, etc...This is why Apple has a technical support department. This is bull s**t, you know this as i have been to technical support, who fixed nothing, and pretty much distorted my sound further. And what do you mean, Small percentage? 95 Percent of people here have got problems with it, so i think you may need some new statistics.iT7, is, completely and utterly, infested.
this link is useless...why'd i digg it? iTunes has some good ideas, but bad implementation. Why does it still take up 100MB of RAM while in mini-mode? what's the point?
