inquisitr.com— If there is one thing you can say for the Apple marketing department it is that they love nothing better than taking subtle swipes at Microsoft. While their

True. If Microsoft did that, there would be some parasite trying to sue them. But that's the price of being the big dog on campus -- everybody wants a swipe at you.
@gypsie, no, they're annoying because they're poorly done, feel forced, and are part of the reason AAPL went down over 10% this week, and as I put 300$ from a paper route I had as a kid into AAPL back when it was low (like 10$ total cost per share). I can't really complain about a fairly healthy return (AAPL's still above 180), a huge part of Apple's rise to power came from their advertising. They need to find an agency that'll continue their increasing sales. I'm automatically selling if it reaches 200$ again or goes below 175, they're just showing a huge amount of volatility, plus ING, Northern Rock, and CIT aren't helping prices at all ):
@tnoy - it's hard for me to decide. The ThinkPad keyboards were works of art, no question, but this one is up there in terms of quality. Few complaints here.@fantasticjon - I don't know why you're being dugg down, those finger swipes are the most useful implementation of gestures I've used so far on any computer. There are things wrong with the mac, but that isn't one of them.
I can only speak from experience as I do have a PC running Windows XP and experience tells me the MAC is much more stable. Of course, why wouldn't it be when they develop the OS to certified hardware. But the MAC OS is not my favorite. I have a self built Ubuntu distribution with all the stability of my MAC but more 3D desktop prettiness and I didn't have to pay a dime for it. I didn't want to bring Linux up because I know how blissfully ignorant most Windows users are when it comes to real software and OS freedom.Thank you for your time and concern.
The mega corporation from which I choose to buy my computer equipment is clearly better than the mega corporation from which you choose to buy your computer equipment. You, therefore, are a less worthy individual.

"...every since Apple's "play nice for money" contract with Microsoft expired, they act more and more like a spoiled little child. Apple has long made money by targeting the rich and 'I have to drop my trousers to count to 21' crowd. So far the Mac's miniscule market share has worked to keep the technically clueless safe, but guess what, you do need products like this:http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/networking_s ...Who woulda thunk it! Your wonderful invincible Mac OS does require antivirus apps after all! Were you able to repeat your little experiment with the USB drive? Going by your gloating, I should get zero results if I search for 'Mac crash' right? Right?http://www.datatek.net/MacFreeze&CrashTips/Def ...Why go to all that trouble- simply go to a directory with about 50,000 MP3s, select all and hit enter. Yay! Windows was unable to launch all of them at once and it froze, therefore it sucks! To quote Maddox- the biggest difference between Windows and Mac users is, that the latter JUST CANNOT STFU about how great the Mac allegedly is.http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=ma ...
