iTV seems to me to be a device that is mainly for bridging the gap between the PC and the TV by bringing PC content to the TV. I think it would be redundant of Apple to try and bridge the gap by trying to go the other way (TV content to the PC). I mean that's what the ITMS is for right? No need to reinvent the wheel with the type of device you are talking about.
You know.. if they DID do this and I just bought an iPod last month or wheneverte last one was released, I would be pissed.I would join the ipod ranks if they went wide screen. then i would never want to hear about the 'next big thing' again.
"The fact that you people keep making up dates for the release of a player that does not exist shows that many of you need to seek some help instead of moding down people and pretending that this thing is a real device, ready for sale."And after the crap you read from these fanboys, you have to see what I'm saying is DEAD ON ACCURATE.
Again, here you have people who has taken a rumor of an imaginary device published by a blog that is well known for posting these fairy tales, and have all but proclaimed it to be real! They have even made up a date for release. They dont seem to remember all the other release dates that have come and gone over the past year. They just made up new ones, not because they think it's true, but because it keeps the fairy tale alive. What is disturbing is that people who point out that their has never been any evidence that this thing is real are modded down and mocked as being the crazy ones! this is one of the hallmarks of Apple Fanboys. Do they wonder why people call them a cult?

Really? Where's Microsoft's touchscreen widescreen media player? It might be worth a look.

looks an aweful lot like a Palm LifeDrive with an "artists' conception" if you will....
