"I hear a million angry Windows users laughing right now heh."Right, because this is as bad as the spyware situation on Windows. Setting Safari to not auto-open downloaded files (a smart thing to do anyway) will stop this from automatically happening, and if not, it's easy to remove from the /Library/Widgets/ folder. Enjoy your CoolWebSearch.com.
But... it only installs the widget, doesnt run it, (you'd have to drag it on your dashboard to activate it) also deleting the widget and rebooting will kill it. Also Widgets run in a sandbox and cant access anything without asking you. Sure it could do bad things but alota user interaction has to happen first. I'll stick with my mac :D
