macworld.co.uk — "The 'mini' Mac OS X will be used. In terms of software, our sources indicate that Apple is leaning towards using the same "mini" version of Mac OS X used in the upcoming iPhone. We believe this will be particularly important as it has a much smaller footprint and runs with as little as 4 GB of space."

That's pretty huge, especially to be going on a phone. Especially if the total capacity of the iPhone is only supposed to be 4 or 8 GB. If they expect people to use it as an iPod they're going to need some space left over for music.

I've got a good slogan for them: Because a notebook computer should be the size of...a notebook

Are people truly stupid enough to think that a 2GB OS will fit on a phone? The only thing OS X about it is the appearance, and presumably behaviour. Dugg as lame.
