I don't know about rightly...unless by that you mean that that's how they get people to drink the koolaid, which in turn makes them more money when those people buy whatever they're selling this week.
Sad thing is It's not Apple Versus Dell or Apple Versus IBM. It's Apple versus Dell, Sony, IBM, Gateway,Toshiba,Mom and Pop computer store, because they run Windows. If Apple made a version of Leopard that ran on all those, Windows would not maintain the market place.
