engadget.com — Shh, don't tell the press but Apple just bumped the specs on its entry-level white MacBook again. The bump measures in at just 0.13GHz on the processor, 133MHz more oomph from the DDR2 SDRAM, and an extra 40GB of disk space.

WHO THE HELL GIVES A RATS ASS ABOUT THIS S**T!??

It's expensive, I'll agree with you there, but "overpriced" is entirely subjective and I couldn't disagree more.

That's what she said. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

I'm an Ubuntista. I have an Ubuntu Dell (my mom has one too), a package I got through REVU, and a mac, running OS 10.4. For my G4, MacOS X is still the best in some ways. I hope that 9.10 changes that. I do think it might, assuming the .iso doesn't lose its SCSI drivers at the last minute again. If not 9.10, 10.04 perhaps. ..It's really up to how well Empathy replaces Skype, Gnash replaces Flash, and Marble replaces Google Earth.

@louiemantiaI have two ways of attacking your statement, choose which one you like better.1. A PC can run OSX, so your argument is moot. Look up "hackintosh". A PC can also run Linux and essentially any other OS out there.2. A Mac running Windows just becomes an outrageously expensive, shiny PC. So your argument is ridiculous.Touting the features of a Mac by saying it can become a Windows-running PC is not an endorsement of that Mac.Just so you know.

Wow, you guys over-thought the f**k out of this to defend your fad toy. Here's one:Macs are more expensive than equivalent PCs.The OS doesn't justify the cost because it is neither faster nor more efficient in any way shape or form.It just gives you a glossy white enamel white boner.
