all those computers in that ranking have the same thing in common. They look good and they are recommended everywhere you go. But i have had the pleasure of servicing these fine machines, on the hardware end not much in terms of problems but OMG windows has its share of problems but OSX is just wierd. Problems magically appear, especially with printers and usb devices and driver issues ( third party devices designed for OSX) . I have had the pleasure of being the IT guy in an all Mac Office, ive never been so busy. You get a call."mac user= 1 i cant print and i just lost my connection to the file server. Tech = hmm stop and restart print services, try to reconnect to file servermac user1= it didnt work, whats wrong with this thing, why did we have to stop using apple mail, this started happening after entourage was installed.Tech = But entourage was installed over a year ago.Mac user1= Well its a microsoft product so it has to be the reason my mac is acting upTech= Ok let me see your machine, (restarted machine, still have the problems, repair disk permissons, can connect to xserve file server but cant print to network printer still),( go to the library and delete printer drivers and reinstall printer , ok user back up and running). One thing i dont like about OSX is that it works magically, you tell the machine to do something and it either does it , or comes back with some vague error message or no message at all. I think both OS has their problems and its nice that Macs are selling some units, i just hate when people buy stuff on hype or bad information. Buy a computer that works best for you for your needs and your budget. Dont buy it because it matches your Ipod.OMG i need to stop im going overboard, i wont talk about the training calls i get sitting with someone for 4 hours trying to teach them just how to press safari to go online or how to print or how to write a letter, their are some people that a computer is just difficult for them period.

Not sure why vannyx is being dugg down. His concerns sound legitimate are not filled with the typical Mac haters buzzwords. Macs aren't perfect and unless you deal with them in a networked (with Macs and WinPCs) environment, you shouldn't automatically assume he's slamming. Vannyx, did you find a solution that you can share?
fan boyz. still no REAL 2nd mouse button. and i'm a mac user and complaining. ever tried to play a 3d shooter with mighty mouse. you can only click one button at a time, no good if you use RM to run and LM to shoot.
naio21 Aww little boy... if you maybe if you bought a mac you would be happier... In side i feel sorry for you. The Apple Community Will always welcome you.
He is being dugg down because it is completely obvious that he has absolutely no real experience with a Mac. No decent error messages? Ever heard of a little application called console. The logs that OS X creates are far superior to anything I have ever seen on XP. I use both a Mac and a Dell day in a day out and never have any of the issues he is talking about and a primarily Windows only network. Outlook server no problem in either Mail or Entourage, I prefer Mail because Entourage is kind of annoying, you can't get rid of the freaking server synchronize window. The problem is that many IT people approach Macs as they have always approached a PC. If it doesn't work reinstall/reboot. Debugging on a Mac is very different.
I hope they never put a second button on the MacBook. Use it for a while and then decide. It is much easier to have a single button and double finger click the pad or ctrl-click. No more akward thumb bending that I did on my old Dell laptop. Maybe my hands are too big. I like the mighty mouse too but I do replace it when playing 3d shooters. Not a problem.
Or instead of dishing out more cash than you should you can buy OSX compatible parts and load the OS on yourself...smart huh?Hot real-time shopping deals and discounts.<a class="user" href="http://RewardsLink.info" rel="nofollow">http://RewardsLink.info</a>
