note that most of the songs ate 150¥ which is about $1.30. where as a song bought in the UK @ £0.79 would be the equivalent of $1.40. and a song bought in Germany @ 0.99 € would com out to $1.22that Japanese don't really have it all that bad

two dollars is not bad considering that a full cd can be up to 30 dollars in Japan.

astrokid, after iTunes for Windows was released, Japanese Windows users used iTunes to transfer their songs. There was just no music store available for them to buy from until today.

If you can get a hold of a gift card for the Japan iTMS you could probably purchase songs that way.
