Well USB TV Tuners are also oversized and I doubt one of those would fit into the MBA. This laptop is a great example of form over function with all the extra cables that need to hang off it just to do standard things. Extension cords for USB peripherpals, extension cords for ethernet, etc. - what were you thinking Apple?
What a bunch of cry babies. My Verizon modem either obscures 1 usb port on a Macbook, or the power port on the Macbook Pro. It also blocks ports on my HP laptop at work, a Lenovo laptop, and I don't even think it can plug into the recessed ports on a Dell Inspiron. Big freaking deal, it's not Apple's (or Dell or Sony, whatever) fault that Sierra and Qualcomm and whoever else is making these air cards is totally inconsiderate as to the packaging they use.Buried, another whiney article from Engadget.
It shows that you'll pay too much for shiny things. You have money, and you buy shiny things. That's about as much interest as a woman would have in your MBA

I assume that you know the purpose of an EVDO modem. .....Oh, you don't? Nevermind then.

Do you actually read the article before commenting, digging, or burying, which I'm sure you did to this story?I didn't think so.

Apple should sell a piece of cardboard as the new laptop. It would be the thinnest, lightest, most useless laptop EVER!

Linux isn't unix, but anyone with experience in IT knows that Linux is a better choice for the future.
