"Developing for the iPhone is not a right. The developers had a choice, develop for the iPhone under an unfavorable contract, or not develop for the iPhone. The chose the former, and it looks like they made a bad choice."Welcome to the real world. Everything is not so black and white.""So, a couple could sign a prenup contract that says if one party is unfaithful, the other party has the right to murder them"Yes, this would be a valid contract, EXCEPT, it conflicts with State law, which outlaws murder, and State law has precedence over private contracts, the same way that Federal law has precedence over State law."... except cell phone carriers are regulated by the FCC, and since cell phone carriers maintain a natural monopoly, they are not allowed to use this as leverage to force others out of the market... such as (supposedly) making Apple remove certain apps from the Apple store which compete with some of AT&T's cell phone service. That's monopolistic behavior and highly illegal.
