Let's face it: if you buy a car, you are also expected to get options from the same manufacturer. If you choose for alternatives you also won't blame the original manufacturer for any mistakes. For me, I'm happy Apple offers a wide range of tested applications. The Android will be overloaded with lots of useless stuff that will mess up the system. Of course there will be fantastic programmers, but there will be also a lot of amateurs making garbage. I don't want them to mess up my phone. And who are you going to blame in case of....?
