I'm an avid Apple user, and I can't believe what I'm seeing. Guys, don't try to defend gaming on OS X. Yes, I do realize that there are quite a few excellent games (ones that sell well, even) on OS X, but the closest thing that us OS X users have to gaming is Boot Camp. Just because we have WoW and The Sims 2 doesn't mean that's anything close to the Windows side of gaming. The fact that about 99% of games on OS X take about a year and a half to port over nullifies any argument for OS X games that you have.If you're an avid gamer, chances are an Apple system isn't going to be for you. Underpowered graphics cards and the need to install another OS to play most of the latest games isn't the most conducive gaming environment.

Yeah, this has been announced way back in August last year. What's the big news here?

Like Microsoft did by copying Tiger? Resolution independence was already available in Tiger for testing and could be enabled by developers.Moron.

Because they have a basic understanding of how computer graphics work?

@dogpartyOh, I didn't realize that copying something before it released is now called 'innovation'. Does this rule only work with Apple products?

Apple rules! :)

If it was done properly by Microsoft and extremely poorly by Apple, then possibly.
