flickr.com— Over a ten-year period, the PalmOS grew to support about 29,000 apps. The App Store passed that mark about 10 months after launching, and by now has probably doubled it.

Yes, those apps are so powerful that you get 3Gless Skype, and Sling Box. You get the same power apps that were written 6 years ago for Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Blackberry except you get to pay $5 more. Hey, at least Tap Tap Revolution is really huge though.
"Now talk about how Apple took an entire year to release an SDK to ANYONE & how they tried like hell to push those s**tty web apps on everyone, claiming there was "no need for an SDK", just so they could have more control over your (their) phone."Yeah! I remember back when I was so pissed that Apple would only allow developers to make apps using HTML, CSS, and Javascript! God we were all so pissed off....When Palms SDK finally comes out, Im totally going to kick the iPhones butt by using the SDK to write as many HTML, CSS, And Javascript Apps as I can! YEAH!!!!idiot.
HAHAHA WinMo Stable? Great material guy. Try the comedy store with that joke, you will get major laughs. The only thing I was ever able to install on my WinMo device was themes, and they just made it crash harder and more frequently.
Smaller market.Palm simply never sold as many PalmOS devices in such a short period, and iPhone is operating in a later era with higher online consumption, easier distribution (for both ends), and better connectivity.Ultimately, comparing PalmOS to iPhone's OS in any way is less meaningful or significant than estimating how many angels can dance on a pinhead.
Please palm was way more innovative than the newton. They made what smartphones are today. Started with the Palm VII with its modem. Newton was not an "Internet Communications Device".
