gamespot.com— Isn't this funny. Take a look at Gamespot's PS3 Webpage. The PS3 may have launched, but someone else has taken over all the advertising space.

@ashepherdI have no doubts that Microsoft is afraid of Sony. The PS2 blew away the Xbox (the Xbox ended up costing Microsoft more money then they profited) and we all know that the PS3 is supposed to be superior to the 360 in most regards. But, Seeing the PS3 collapse under the pressure and weight of its own hype in the last week makes me think this is just the a hilarious kick-to-PS3's-side while-its-down-for-a-moment.Gamers know that if you're fighting a enormous giant, the best time to hit it is when its off-balance or down ;)
@PhaydeThat's a good point. I hope Microsoft is relishing their little victories (....err taunts, anyway), because I am not sure they have much in their arsenal outside of taunts and the Halo 3 exclusive. In all fairness though, SCE and MS will both be taking a major loss on their system sales this time around. Actually, I think Microsoft's loss per unit sold is actually less than for the PS3 (at current prices). That may change with the upcoming price drop for 360, though.Your gaming analogy is fitting, but I will offer this caveat: Yes, you have to hit the giant when he is off-balance or down, but in most cases (especially this one), it's just when you think you are winning that the giant pulls out his special attack and obliterates you, leaving you cursing your TV screen. MS is poking, but can't deliver the knockout blow. The Giant has stumbled, but it's more of a feint than anything. The round is just starting, and Sony's punches really really hurt. Just as Nintendo. They woke the sleeping Giant in the first place, and what did it get them? Last Place
yeah, just like in red steel, knock them off balance then hit them, to bad the nunchuck only works 50% of the time is sword fighting. damnit, red steel was such a disappointment, CoD3 wii sports, LoZ:TP and excitetruck were great though.

Anyone else remember when IGN sold out to McDonalds. Advertisers have long forgotten where the line of decency even is.http://www.8bitjoystick.com/archives/jake_i_could_sell_out_at_any_time.php
