torrentfreak.com — The infamous Dutch anti-piracy organization BREIN has infringed TorrentFreak’s copyright and blatantly copied a quote from one of our articles without attributing the source. TorrentFreak is thus considering legal action against these copy/paste pirates, where they may face a fine of up to $975,000 and several years in prison.

RTFA. It's a quote from an interview.

There is a big difference between piracy, and plagiarism.

Doubtful. The quote was by the owner of SumoTorrent not TorrentFreak so unless there was some pre-interview paperwork relinquishing ownership of everything said in the interview TorrentFreak's just talking s**t for ad impressions once again.

Yeah TPB is a non-profit organization right? No. Not yours. Wrong!

I don't think the individual that posted this article even read it... I can't find anywhere mentioning legal action of any kind. Why is anyone surprised by this? I thought it was common knowledge that anti-piracy groups are hypocritical...

TPB doesn't host copyrighted material - only links to it. The people actually doing the sharing don't make or give any money based on the act of sharing.
