By my calculations, electronic cigarettes are 800% more effective than the FDA-approved nicotine products. Only 10% of users of the nicotine patch, gum, and lozenges succeed in giving up smoking, compared with 80% of users of the electronic cigarette. No wonder ASH, the American Lung Association, American Cancer Society, and American Heart Association are upset about this product.
