how sad. catholicism isn't christianity. its a barrel of religion (little to no faith left) poisoned by atheism, and relativism.

What's up with all the protestant know it alls on here. You guys are acting as if this catholic/protestant debate hasn't been going on for CENTURIES and that there aren't clear scholars on both sides. Why don't you just bow out and stop acting like YOU'RE SCHOLARS.

This Intelligent Design stuff is crap. :) That is all... Seriously though, why is it so hard to believe that we evolved from other animals? It's not far-fetched or anything. There HAVE been unearthings of cavemen. Maybe I'm too open minded.

I'm way too late on this, but I know for a fact that evolution is imposible. If you don't beleive me, try running a script that randomly generates ASCII characters and see how long it takes you to comoe up with the script for "Serenity."

I never thought I would see the day that the Vatican supported my beliefs about anything!!!

@ Mark H:Like I said, run the script. It'll take a lot longer than 5 billion years, or whatever they're up to now.

How come those who believe in intelligent design are rarely intelligent?

Can an ALMIGHTY god create something more powerful than itself?

Well my question is, Why can't they be taught all theories? No Intelligent design is not creationism, that is for the ignorant who don't read other theories. You get stuck that the earth is flat or the earth is the center of the universe. Why not spark debate? That is what keeps us searching to find out why we are here and how we came to be. That is why there are scientists everyday searching for answers. A great book to read is Biochemical Predestination. In which the author later questioned his own theory. How DNA came about, no one knows but it is the informational sequence that no protein can build without. So all of you who are so opposed to this pick up a book challenging what you believe. So you don't get stuck in a stubborn rut.

"bluparadox your why I hate people with a belief systems. Evolution is your religion your belief just like religious people you get up in arms when someone challenges your belief system. there have been people convicted of murder with lots of overwhelming evidence. and 20 years later set free because evidence was found that showed they did not do it."wait... huh? I'm a Christian... But it's interesting that you would mistake me for an athiest based on my comment...
