You're so biased. I'm not a republican, I'm simply calling out the lies that are spread on digg. You call things lies, but they aren't.FTA: "So what appears to have happened is this: As a Council member she voted against hiking the mayor's salary from $64,000 to $68,000, but it passed anyway. When she came in as mayor, she passed the ordinance which brought her salary down to $61,200. But that may not actually have taken effect, and Council-mandated raises brought her actual salary up to $68,000."Stop stealing my comments. Have some originality. Once again, a Obama fanatic, who acts with an incredible lack of integrity. Obama does not want your kind of support.
See, if the republican machine was smart, they would have spun it as "Sarah Palin attempted to do the honorable thing and decrease her salary. But the Government forced her salary to go up. This is the kind of wasteful spending Vice President Palin would fight against." That way you tell the truth and you turn a negative into a positive. But noooooo...they had to go for the simple, big impact explanation that, when exposed, looks like a lie.Dumb.
And as governor, she charged the state budget almost a year's worth of per diem for all the nights she spent sleeping in her own bed. Way to supplement your salary!
