kotaku.com— What every self respecting nerd dreamt of when they first saw the Wii demos: The "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" game for Wii will let you use the wiimote as a lightsaber.

A lot of people have said there's no 1:1 control on the Wii. In response, a lot of people have pointed to Wii Sports' Baseball. Nobody's said anything in response to that, however. So I have some questions:Why is Wii Baseball NOT 1:1?Even if it isn't, why wouldn't it be good enough to swing a lightsaber with? Also, people have brought up how resistance can't be replicated with the Wii, which is true. But I'm sure the programmers can come up with something to compensate for that, that would add challenge to the gameplay the way resistance does for real swordfighting. I can think of several ways off the top of my head. So this is no big deal, and this one lapse in realism is nothing compared to the lack of realism that comes from pushing a button to swing a saber, the way you would on every other platform.
I'm hoping that they can put together the controls well enough to make the force powers feel genuine, but that will prove difficult. Does anyone know anything by the developer, I haven't heard of them...

Wii is for casual gamers. 360/PS3 is for real gamers.

It's getting a little old.

You don't know that for sure and thus you're talking out of your ass. We can bicker about the controls when it comes out.

Any console is for the casual gamer. PC is for the real gamers.
