sports.espn.go.com — Cabrera, the 36-hole leader who ballooned to a 76 on Saturday, shot a final-round 69 and finished at 5 over par for 72 holes at Oakmont Country Club. It was his second sub-par round of the tournament. He's the only player to do that. He edged Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk to win by one stroke.

Isn't this a day old? Hmm...Sports apparently aren't Digg's forte

It's not that, it's just that some people feel the need to rip whatever ESPN.com is showcasing and make a digg story about it. If something significant happens like a title victory eg, World Series, NBA Finals champs etc, then post about it, but if Albert Pujols hits a homerun or in this case a tour event is won just leave it alone.

Anything from the sports section with more than 10 diggs makes it to the front.

Um, more like Golf isn't exactly a digg's thing.I'm a geek. I read (comment on) digg. I play golf. That makes me a rare birdle.
