timesonline.co.uk — Some say that it was a publicity stunt, and that the BBC almost broke its own guidelines by allowing a guest to plug a brand of rum. All we know is: Top Gear has claimed that Michael Schumacher is The Stig.

The FXX isn't a new car. There were 30 made between 2005 and 2006.The black one in the episode is Schumacher's personal one, notable for not having the white stripe.

The Stig is actually portrayed by a number of people depending on the situation. The reason Schumacher was on the show was because he was advertising the Ferrari that went round their track, since he is still an adviser to them, as he was in the UK at the time due to the British Grand Prix. One of the people to portray the Stig is Ben Collins, as he has been credited in Hammond's accident report, among other evidence. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/4286448/Who-is-the ...The main identity of the Stig (Collins) has been an open secret for years. If you REALLY wanted to know who he was, you could without much difficulty. Most media outlets, however refrain from publishing his identity to uphold the spirit of the programme, although they know who he is.

It doesn't make any sense because Kingfisher is a make of lager, Indian lager, so what the hell has an Indian lager got to do with driving cars on planes. I repeat, it makes zero sense!
