dailygalaxy.com — Over the last several years, similar petroglyphs have been identified on as many as five continents. They all date from roughly the same time-period. In the late 20th century, archaeologists discovered a collection of symbols carved in stone as petroglyphs in the Negev desert of Israel that appeared to be writing.

Exploring the links further, we find:"McGlone documented the locations of this writing before his untimely death in 1998. Prior to this, he gave many of his maps and notes to Gary Vey, editor of Viewzone."In addition, the article in the link originally came from viewzone. Check viewzone.com and we see....What cannot be described as a reputable source. It's got a nice little UFO on the front page...I think we've got ourselves a nice amount of BS going on here...Not to mention that this is old news. In fact, the BYU professor mentioned in the article has been quite thoroughly pounded upon by BYU's own FARMS review as performing bad scholarly work. See http://farms.byu.edu/publications/review/?vol=12&a ...

Yep, all you have to do is dig a layer or two deeper and find other sources of this article...Bad science "news" sites with UFOs on their front pages...Very credible, yes.Not to mention that at least the BYU guy was discredited by departments in his own university

The BYU connection shouldn't be the reason to bury it. It's the bad science. Mormons and BYU can do good science and scholarship...But as was already pointed out, BYU's own FARMS pretty much ripped this guy apart already, even despite shared beliefs.I just hate prejudice like this...
