lewrockwell.com — By the good graces of LewRockwell.com, I have the opportunity for equal time. Now I can tell you why I believe it is in the interests of conservatives and free-marketers to, at the most, sit out this election, and, at the least, not vote Republican. I also want to tell you why you’re not the Great American that you claim to be:

Wait a minute.... I'm confused..."I started off by telling you that I would be sitting out the coming election. I wanted to give the reasons why I have taken this position but you .... accus[ed] me of being a liberal and that you didn’t believe me."Didn't Hannity just last week tell his listeners to "stay home on Election Day." for the sake of the nation? http://mediamatters.org/items/200610200001

also @grizwaldIf the Republicans get pushed out of control they will be forced to take a look at the situation and change their tactics. Perhaps we can even have, in the next election, situations where incumbent republicans don't get their party's nomination due to the fact that there is a much more conservative candidate. Now that I've said my piece there I'd like to agree with the writer of the article about Bill Clinton. He was a damned superhero. I don't really care who sucks him off, and neither should anyone else, save his wife and daughter. The problem with today's conservatives is that the religious right has moved in and deluded the entire message. The message is supposed to be "Leave us alone and let us live." The message has become "Jesus is Lord." The only Republicans that are happy with our party lately are the religious wackos.I was going to vote all Dems down the line, but if I abstain I have less of a chance of contracting Socialism.

See, the religious wackos make all conservatives look stupid.

Both Republicans and Democrats are slowly trying to dismantle our Constitution and The Bill of Rights. they don't care about America!Hannity is a turd who should be flushed.

Of course you do! You have the option not to choose either - if you don't take it, that's your fault!

@ daldredge"One little problem with the Libertarian party is their stance on illegal immigration. Their position that their should be 100% open / unlimited immigration isn't exactly a vote getter."That is the ideal, but as long as we're saddled with a welfare state, open immigration isn't at the top of any libertarian's list of priorities. The point of libertarianism is that you don't back off your principles just because they aren't vote getters or aren't practical at the moment. If you understand the principle behind open immigration, you might understand a little more about why the welfare system, as well as all other economic "intervention" by government, is so harmful.

Have you ever seen the size of Coulter's Adam's Apple? She's a Dude man.http://www.rawilson.com/images/coulter.jpgAdam's Apple Facts: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam%27s_appleSorry, but anyone who says this about 9/11 widows better be ready to be analyzed herself:"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them. ... I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much ... the Democrat ratpack gals endorsed John Kerry for president ... cutting campaign commercials... how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy."

My letter to Tony Kondaks:Tony, I read your letter to Sean Hannity on lewrockwell.com. I think I may have heard you on Sean's show. While I absolutely understand your frustrations with this Republican congress, I disagree with your conclusion to sit out this election or vote for opposition candidates. Whatever shortcomings this administration and this congress have, the answer is not electing more Democrats. This country is on the cusp of too many important events and decisions to allow our fate to be decided by the immature and non-serious. The fate of the country, and indeed the world, rests on what America does right now. We cannot afford even two years of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy, Dick Durbin, John Kerry, Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, and the rest of the Leftist clowns in congress to destabilize our country with their Leftist-socialist agenda. The Democrat party is bent on increasing taxes, keeping constitutional constructionist judges off the bench, socializing medical care, giving blanket amnesty to illegals, restricting firearm rights, forcing society through activist courts to redefine marriage with no historical context to justify their "experiment", removing the ability of Americans to publicly mention religious tenets without regulatory consequence, ham-stringing our intelligence efforts against our enemies, trying foreign enemy combatants in our legal justice system, and appeasing enemies who have stated their desire for the elimination of America, Israel, and even Europe. While the legislation we are getting from this Republican congress and President Bush is a far cry from many of the conservative values that you and I may share, it is hands down far and above what we would be experiencing with Democrats as the majority. If the only objective was to teach Republicans a lesson, and I thought we could afford two years of Democrat rule, I may join your "protest". But I believe that we simply cannot afford to EVER let Democrats gain the majority again, until they purge their current grass-roots that pushes radical candidates like Ned Lamont up through the party primary, and ousts a decent Democrat like Joe Leiberman. The party is beholden to moveon.org, George Soros, Hollywood, and the Cindy Sheehan/Michael Moore far-Left. They cannot be trusted with the reins of power in America. I ask you to reconsider. Put your emotions and frustrations aside, and understand that we can only play with the cards that we are dealt. We are dealt two dysfunctional political parties. One has forgotten why people put them in office. The other has an agenda that will cause permanent harm to any conservative causes that you may value, and to your country. Don't "cut off your nose to spite your face". VOTE REPUBLICAN, and then work through activism to make sure that elected officials know exactly why we sent them to Washington.
