Not exactly. He said he'd try to get it removed, but that he'd vote for the compromise regardless. I think he will be committing political suicide if he votes for it.

Well the truth is that the constution does not allow expostfacto laws.IE you can not pass a law granting imunity to someone that did something in the past.Any law that atempts to grant this is a ilegal expostfacto law.So anyone who thinks they were wronged by a telco should sue anyway claiming that this is a expostfacto law.
