I'd like to see a Nascar or Indy 500 race with just electric cars - maybe a course with real world simulation: on & off ramps, straight aways, different speed limits, and starting stopping every lap - see how far each car can go.

So they're going with pretty much the exact same concept as the Tesla, with the same price tag, but the Tesla is out already, and had been under development for years. And by the time this is released, the Tesla will be even better. Why, if I were gonna spend 100K would I not buy the Tesla? Why wouldn't they atleast take Tesla's lead, and build the more mainsteam, full back seat version of that car? One that people can afford, and therefore be likely to actually help the environment.
