I always find it funny when people say he was white. (not that you did). He was aribic, therefore his skin color would be darker. People use "white jesus" depictions of jesus because they are more comfortable with him being that way. This practice of course started a long time ago when races were more discriminated against. It became so common that its just generally accepted by everyone. It wont ever be corrected, of course because people would protest. Not because of that fact that their depiction was wrong, but because they are so used to it and dont see a reason to change it because they like it that way.
