Cool concept, especially for 1 day of coding!Enhancement requests:1. Use the "standard" every 5 characters = 1 word as pointed out above.2. Allow the green / gold / red / white scale to be customized via properties dialog. If a user "only" types 90 wpm, the user could customize green = 0-29 wpm, gold = 30-59 wpm, red = 60-89 wpm, white = 90+ wpm etc.3. Fix the "size handles" mouse cursor issue as described in the known issues(The source is available but not everyone has VS.Net etc.)
@tiga31328 - the behavior that you describe would occur if you didn't type anything. I left it out of my brief documentation of the application (as I thought it was obvious), but the app does require you to type in order to display the typing speed...
"This is useless if the measure of WPM doesn't follow any commonly accepted standards (which it doesn't). A "word" in WPM is not literally a word, as the programmer has erroneously assumed."This program isn't meant to be a testing tool against your typing prowess. Simply put, it's a fun little tool that sits innocently in your system tray. Don't take yourself so seriously.
