Isn't that what Julius Caesar would do when he conquered a new country and claimed it in the name of Rome?

Iraq and Osama have nothing to do with each other.Rest be assured, it will be the Iraqis who deal with it. They have the means, they have the motivation, and they have the closest thing to "right" on their side anyone has ever had.

wouldnt ya know it, its also the only major "reconstruction" project in Iraq that is on schedule and NOT over budget!(I dont know how ANY thing in Iraq could be over budget with the kinda money Congress is throwing at these contractors, but alas, they've found a way)Other notable facts are that this "embassy" will be bigger than the freaking VATICAN CITY!

It looks like they're banking on the oil grab being pushed through by the Iraqi puppet government. Even so, the size, construction costs, and probable annual operating expenses of the new embassy are obscene. My math isn't good enough - after figuring in the hundreds of billions of dollars that will eventually be spent on the war, embassy, military bases, reconstruction projects etc., I wonder what will the real cost per barrel of Iraqi crude oil will be for Americans forced to contribute to this public-private enterprise?
