No offence but any time I've been over there it's reinforced my opinion that American beer is awful. It tends to be overchilled, fizzy, chemical tasting rubbish. Haven't been for nearly 2 yrs though, so maybe things have got a bit better.
I tried to figure out their list, but just got confused. They're all good breweries, but no one would attach "Best" to any except perhaps Russian River.
Surprised the c**k and Bull in Sarasota didn't get a mention. 40 taps and over 800 different beers throughout the year. About 500 - 600 in house at all times and the rest are seasonals or ever changing brands/types. Men's Fitness FTL

Three Floyds and Bells are very popular in Chicago. My two favorites are Floyd's Gumballhead wheat and Bell's Oberon.

Be wary of a bar that has 500 beers on tap. How fresh can that beer be?

OK, if you're in Chicago, The Map Room is a great bar to hang out in, but I would have to say that The Hop Leaf is a beer drinkers bar.www.hopleaf.com
