boston.com — A classic toy car is being inducted into an auto museum in Cleveland - and it outsold every other car in the U.S. in 2008. The Cozy Coupe, a plastic cherry-red sports car, allows toddlers to sit on a bench-style seat and poke their legs through to the ground. The Cozy Coupe sold 457,000 units in 2008, topping the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.

if real cars cannot bring money in, then shift your consumers from adults to children. and see the difference!

I remember mom calling the fire dept and having them use the jaws of life to get you out.

> Edit: Crash test video here:Where is the dummy? Without a dummy kitted out with accelerometers, you have no idea what forces the occupant is being subjected to. A completely useless test as far as occupant survivability goes.Go look at crash tests from the 50's and 60's - the cars survived very well. Heck you could push one down the side of a cliff and drive away in it. The passengers, however, would be smashed into bologna, as their bodies absorbed the brunt of the impact instead of the car.

Instead of putting that silly face on the front, Why didnt they give it ground effects? and reinforce the front wheels so they dont bow out. i Hated that !! always had to have front end allignments done.!!
