wow! What a co-incidence. They just found her final resting place and a movie is coming out this weekend about her life.buried for advertising.

I am sure this has nothing to do with the movie about Amelia Earhart coming out soon.

"No breeze. Ocean water from the tides ( I guess you don't know what a tide is maybe?) and the article says they survived the plane going down so it would have been kinda dumb of them them to just sit there and let ocean water sweep them away to ya think?"It was a joke, idiot. My point is still valid. The 'island' is pretty much a sand bar with grass on it. Nothing on it would keep their bones from being washed away by a wave, wind, rain, anything.

I think there's a pretty credible Gilligan's Island episode that explains away this whole mystery.

Looks beautiful."Desert island" means an uninhabited island, i.e. one that's deserted. It doesn't mean an island that's a desert.
