youtube.com — I hacked together a bunch of Ambient Orbs from Ambient Devices to display an MP3 visualization. Each orb corresponds to a certain frequency band, and the color represents amplitude. An XMMS plugin running on linux controls the orbs.They look really cool in the dark and are useful for parties.
