Electronic ink screebs are harmless for the eyes, unlike common LCD screens. And pixel-density is much higher: 160 dpi.And it needs far less energy. And it has no impact on brainwaves unlike most screens except video-projectors. Most screens make your brainwaves go from beta to alpha because they send light directly into your eyes (like the sun) to which the brain adjusts to save energy (evolution lead to that). And the left brain hemisphere (rational) partly goes to sleep. Read Marshall McLuhan to know more. Or watch the documentary called The Tube.
