amazon.com — I sign in 20 mins early at the Customers Vote page at Amazon.com, reload the page, get the magic button right at 2:00 ET to get a 360 for $100, answer the secret question -- and at 2:00:07 I get a "sold out" message. Amazing -- 7 seconds and Amazon sells 1,000 360s. Back to the minimum wage job to pay for one.

I tried to get one but was stuck at "loading" for 10 minutes. Oh well, at least I have the wii to entertain me until i can get enough for a 360.

Me and my 2 brothers planned on this for a week with no real expectation of getting one....and sure enough, we didn't. Like most people are reporting, the reload time was in the minutes. Oh well.

Me and my dad had a page up on three of our computers in the house and amazon just now loaded for us...sold out *sniffles*

Why did Amazon not expect this to happen? If it were $100 PS3s, I bet the website would have been attacked. There is no way anyone could have purchased that Xbox 360 with that much traffic.

Why is it hard to believe for people that there were only 1000 of these things, and most likely MILLIONS of people trying to get one. it's like the lottery, you didn't win, suck it up, move on and get over it. Anyone that thinks this was a fraud just needs to stfu.

Believe it or not, I didn't have much trouble getting the page to load, and went through the process very smoothly. I know many folks had loading issues, but I didn't. Smooth as silk. But, sadly, it only took seconds for 1,000 to get gone. That's how it goes.
