pix.bloemsma.de— Here's a detailed image of a bee sinking into a droplet of honey and other high res images of spiders and things. Enjoy.

And you know this was done in 3d how? Now granted, atm I can only see the wasp, but I certainly don't see anything that somebody who is halfway skilled with photoshop couldn't do.Oh, I got the spider pic to come up, again I don't see anything that suggests it wasn't done purely in photoshop.
"Somehow I don't think those little tubes are really that "3-D" looking up close."Somehow I don't think those little tubes exist at all on a real wasp.
"And you know this was done in 3d how?"I don't know for a fact that it was done in a 3D package, but it makes the most sense. If you check out the rest of the album, you'll see that the guy has done a bunch of non-photorealistic 3D stuff. It's still amazing work ...As for whether it's real or fake, you can tell it's not real based on the lighting and some of the textures, and specular lighting on some of the textures. It's a little off from what you get in the real world.

Reported as lame. My grandmother could do a better job photoshopping those images. Seriously... wtf.

You really think wasps have little tubes that come out of their mouth parts and spider eyes in the middle of their heads?
