I always try to take pictures from the window of the plane and they never turn out even close to that. One of my most vivid memories of a view like that was when I was 3 and we were flying out of DFW. I flew out of DFW recently and saw another sunset in the clouds just like when I was a kid. You never forget them when they are that spectacular.
