Don't worry, unlike "Citizen" B0jangles above, not all of us have drunk the New Labia Kool Aid over here in the UK :-)We're wide awake, and taking the opportunity to disrupt the system in other ways :-) Yes there are plenty of stupid sheeple who are quite happy to take it up the backside from the government and authorities, but many of us too, live in areas where crime is rife, we see the lack of respect for the systems of the country on a daily basis, and we are sick and tired of seeing methods brought in that penalise the law abiding, and systems generally supported by those who sit in their comfy middle class suburban homes in Middle England without actually seeing the real world.
I could have it both ways if I wanted to (I'll stick with egomaniac dumbass): Bush himself is an idiot, but his actions are orchestrated by brilliant/evil/dictatorial folk.
It isn't a matter of "being responsible enough;" in the UK there isn't a law mandating that you have your driving license on you while you're driving.I agree to a degree, though, that some reactions here have been hyperbolic, yet I am concerned with the possibility of databasing people's information (including DNA--the worst), since it will probably lead to false charges and useless profiling.
Gemayel has been assassinated in Lebanon -- by the Syrians, obviously -- AND NOT ONE WORD FROM THE DIGGISTANIS.What a f**ked up site this is. Anything to do with slamming the US, UK, etc, then it's open-season. But when real acts of oppression occur, they get totally ignored. As a group, Diggers have no credibility. Just a bunch of loud-mouthed ignorant punks.
